NCHA Press Release
The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is proud to announce its continued partnership with Grace Ranch as a corporate partner and title sponsor of the NCHA Youth World Finals.
Home of the 2007 NCHA Futurity Open Champion and 2008 NCHA Open Horse of the Year, High Brow CD, Grace Ranch, located in Jennings. La., has offered continuous support to the NCHA and the NYCHA. Owned by Chris and Staci Thibodeaux, the family extends their southern hospitality every year during the NCHA Super Stakes by hosting the popular Cajun Cutters Party. With Grace Ranch-raised catfish, and other Louisiana cuisine items paired with live music, the Cajun Cutters party is an event that Super Stakes patrons look forward to year after year.
“The National Cutting Horse Association is fortunate to have people like the Thibodeauxs committed to not only promoting cutting, but also enjoying it through family oriented activities, which is what cutting is all about,” said NCHA Executive Director Jim Bret Campbell. “Their generous support is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to partnering with them again in 2014.
High Brow CD (High Brow Cat x Sweet Little CD x CD Olena), also known as “Wendel,” quickly became a fan favorite when he made his debut in 2007 with Austin Shepard at the NCHA Futurity. The two went on to claim $542,101 during the stallion’s show career. High Brow CD’s first foal crop hit the show pen in 2013 and have since earned more than $700,000.
